Service Times

Two hands praying on Bible during worship

Sunday Morning Bible Study

9:00 AM

Classes for all ages. Bring your Bible and spend time digging deep into God's Word. This is a great opportunity to grow closer to God and to other Christians who sincerely want to follow God's will. Our studies will come straight from the Bible. Sometimes the classes cover topics, such as evidence for the existence of God; but usually, we are studying through a book of the Bible. Feel free to jump in wherever we happen to be.

Wednesday Bible Study

6:00 PM

Each Wednesday evening we have set aside some time to gather together midweek and encourage one another. During this time, we spend time studying Scripture, just as we do during Sunday morning Bible class. We also have a brief devotional period, during which we sing together, pray together, and hear a short message from God's Word.

Sunday Morning Worship

10:00 AM

We gather each Lord's Day to break bread, just as Christians did from the beginning (Acts 20:7). We also pray together, hear a lesson from God's Word, and sing as a congregation (Col 3:16). During our assembly, there will be an opportunity to give to the work of the church in thankfulness for the blessings of God. Guests should not feel obligated to give but are encouraged to participate in all other parts of the worship assembly.

Sunday Afternoon Worship

1:00 PM

Our desire is for all of us to be together to worship the Father on Sundays, just as we have been commanded (Heb 10:25). However, we realize that many people have jobs and other obligations that might make it difficult to be available every Sunday morning. So, we come together a second time on Sunday evening to extend the same fellowship and encouragement to all (1 Cor 11:33). Our evening services follow the same basic format as morning services, but the content is always fresh. We'd love it if you could make plans to be with us both times.

Water for baptismThis is the most important question that can come from the lips of mankind.   This question acknowledges the value of the soul (Matthew 16:26),  the condemnation of sin (Romans 3:23),  and the need for salvation (Romans 6:23). Jesus’ blood is the only medium that makes salvation possible (Acts 4:12; Ephesians 1:7).  Jesus shed His blood for man’s salvation and He desires the salvation of “ALL” mankind (1 Timothy 2:4).  But, Jesus requires obedience to His word, because He is the “author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him” (Hebrews 5:9).

To be SAVED one must OBEY the Lord’s command to:

  1. BELIEVE in Him (Mark 16:16; John 8:24; Acts 16:31).  Saving Faith comes from studying and believing the word of God (Romans 10:17). (Not Faith Alone)
  2. REPENT of your sins (Luke 13:3; Acts 2:38; Acts 3:19; Acts 17:30).
  3. CONFESS Faith in Jesus (Matthew 10:32; Acts 8:37; Romans 10:9-10).
  4. BE BAPTIZED for remission of sins (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; Acts 10:48; Acts 22:16).
  5. The saved are added to the church by the Lord (Acts 2:47). (No Joining)
  6. The Saved must remain faithful to the Lord until death (Revelation 2:10).

Jesus built His Church (Matthew 16:18) and purchased it with His own blood (Acts 20:28).    The church is the body of Christ (Eph. 1:22-23; Col. 1:18).   The Bible clearly teaches that there is one body of Christ (Ephesians 4:4) and since the body of Christ is the Church (Colossians 1:18; Ephesians 1:22-23), there is but one Church.   The church was not built upon Peter, Paul or any other man (1 Corinthians 1:12-13).   Christ is the only Foundation of the Church (1 Corinthians 3:11).

Two hands praying on Bible during worshipThe Bible teaches that we must have the authority of Christ for whatever we practice or teach (Colossians 3:17), so our worship services are conducted in strict accordance with the Scriptural pattern set forth in the New Testament. Jesus said, “God is a spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24).  To worship in spirit means to worship with the right attitude, purpose, and motive.  To worship in “truth” means to worship God according to the Word of God (John 17:17).  Thus, we are taught that all we do in worship to our God must be regulated by the Word of God.

The Five items of worship found in the New Testament are:

  1. Lord’s Supper (Acts 20:7).
  2. Teaching/Preaching (Acts 20:7).
  3. Singing and making melody in the heart (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16).
  4. Praying (James 5:16; Acts 2:42; 1 Thess. 5:17).
  5. Giving, liberally, and cheerfully (1 Corinthians 16:1-2; 2 Corinthians 8:1-5; 9:6-8).
